The MPDs can only be used on Routes K1 and 481 with rare appearances on routes H20 and H26. Due to the Ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ) these buses can only work the routes stated above. Route K1 is ran by Abellio London from their Twickenham garage (TF) with a PVR of 12 using 2 MPDs and 10 8.9m Enviro 200s as well as occasionally using 8.9m Enviro 200 MMCs from routes H20, H26 or E10. It has a frequency of every 15 minutes Monday-Saturday and every 20 minutes on Sundays. The route is due a contract renewal soon, so hopefully the K1 will remain with Abellio. Route K1 provides a very useful link from Kingston to New Malden Station going via Surbiton, Hook, Tolworth and Malden Manor with a total journey time of 32 minutes to an hour.

Route 481 runs between Kingston Cromwell Road Bus Station and West Middlesex Hospital with a PVR of 4 at every 30 minutes Monday-Saturday 60 minutes on Sundays. The route uses enviro200s of any length as well as MPDs, most commonly 8024 (BU05HDY). Once again due to the ultra- low emission zone (ULEZ) 8024 can only work routes 481 or K1. The 481 goes via some tight roads but is a very nice and a scenic route. Route 481 provides a useful link between Kingston and West Middlesex Hospital going via Whitton, Fulwell and Teddington minutes with a total journey time of 39-64 minutes.
